Our kitchen is directly run by the Pezzato family, who have been delighting the taste buds of guests at Albergo Aurora since 1969. After the important handover from mum, Carmen, daughter, Sara now personally supervises the menu and pampers guests with dishes with an unmistakable flavour.
The pasta dishes are typical of Trentino cuisine: strangolapreti, homemade pasta with game sauce, including venison, hare or boar, the area’s signature dishes of canederli, polenta with truffles, sauce with Speck, Gorgonzola cheese and walnuts. A triumph of flavours, authentic gems from Sara’s kitchen.
As for the meat dishes, the most renowned include venison stew, melted cheese with polenta and mushrooms, and salt meat carpaccio, but there are many other flavours just waiting to be discovered.
Sara’s creativity, together with local produce, grown and prepared in Vallarsa, makes our menu unique and something you won’t find anywhere else.
The dough is the secret behind a good pizza and that is what our pizzeria is all about. We offer pizzas made from doughs prepared with four different types of flour: “00”, wholegrain, spelt and semolina. It’s up to you to choose which is your favourite.
Our pizzas are cooked in a wood oven, using wood gathered in the green, unspoiled woodlands of Vallarsa, which only adds to their flavour and uniqueness.
